In the Griot’s Nest, we believe stories are sacred. They carry our history, reflect our truths, and illuminate the paths we dare to walk. We are a collective of Black storytellers, screenwriters, and culture-shapers committed to honoring our past while boldly crafting narratives that shape the future.

Inspired by the griots of West Africa — the original oral historians — we gather here to share, create, and nurture stories that matter. Stories that heal. Stories that challenge. Stories that center Black voices in all their nuance and power.

Whether we're writing original screenplays, hosting creative workshops, or curating conversations around art, identity, and legacy — we do so with purpose, passion, and power.
